Update reason; Had some pieces left in my collection for the journal.

Congratulation to Victoria, it's her birthday everyone!

B&W

Monochrome

Vibrant

And...

I want at least one too :)

PS, In the coming days I'll be attending a festival near by, in which I'll get, for the very first time in my life enjoy Sigur Rós preforming live, and shortly after that a trip to Netherlands (a very flat land as I have heard, with even flat pub's) so I'm sorry if there will be some :+fav:'s without comment's!

That's it for now. :ahoy:

The essence of...

Journal Entry: Tue Aug 5, 2008, 11:59 PM

Features

Can you sense its substance?

Vibrant

And...

...some would do anything to get closer to it, back into it, ride its waves, hear its sound, smell its air...

That's it for now. :ahoy:

A sense of Atlantis

Journal Entry: Sun Aug 24, 2008, 8:36 AM

Features

Heads up! :)

And...

doesn’t these ones give the impression of the possibility behind they perhaps came from some distant ocean, some forgotten shore? If Atlantis has been around, its people would definitely have features not much unlike these. Maybe it's just me, but I find some connections between those photos above and these following pieces.

That's it for now. :ahoy:

  • Mood: Adoration
  • Listening to: God Is an Astronaut - Radau

The white magicians

Journal Entry: Mon Aug 4, 2008, 5:37 PM

High-Key, features

My admiration for HK is based on the richness in the extremely limited grade of tone detailing, the absolute higher tones so to speak, but also the absence of shadows.

Update reason; might have forgotten some pieces, so there will be an update.

Nikola Borissov

I doubt any formal introduction is needed. Most of you have seen his work and if that is not the case, I'll besides giving you a glimpse on the greatness of his expertise in the matter, also humbly suggest you paying him a warm visit! :)

Various Artists

And...

unquestionably, one of my “weaknesses”; - striking high key photography - is conquered with the magnificent work by these artists

That's it for now. :ahoy:

  • Mood: Content
  • Listening to: Sigur Rós - Untitled #3 (Samskeyti)
  • Reading: someone's journal
  • Watching: Vanilla Sky

Simplicity and Composition

Journal Entry: Tue Aug 5, 2008, 1:26 PM

Features

These following features illustrate the simplicity which only can be captured with a highly individualistic sense of composition. That is at least how I chose to see it. Obviously I admire the immeasurable magnificence hidden in minimalism within these pieces, and get moved by the perspectives the artists of these features possess.

Update reason; Had several pieces left in my collection for the journal.

B&W

Vibrant

And...

Those which I slightly fell easier for

That's it for now. :ahoy:

  • Mood: Content
  • Listening to: Yndi Halda - Illuminate My Heart My Darling
